the Veyron is AWD right? Wouldn't the Veyron still be faster?

rally stages favor really short gearing and wheelbase combined with a tendancy to oversteer. The veyron has none of those things.

I mean, I wouldn't be surprised.

And I just googled goatse. Not as bad as I expected. If you hate humor don't google it. ;)

I just figures 1000 hp would make up for some of that. Let's make a Veyron with rear power bias, a little bit of a lift, new gearing, and some meaty tires on rally wheels.

Group B cars make 500+ hp easy. And they're built to take jumps. The veyron has zero suspension travel for dirt roads and even if it did, it weighs too much.

The 1000hp isn't much use if you can only use it for 4 seconds before having to slow down again as you can't take corners at speed.
Saying that, if I found myself in possession of a Veyron I'd jack it up on high suspension and big knobbly wheels and take it to the Dakar.
