You gotta hop the curbs, dude! The Gallardo's one of my favorite cars just because of how stable it is in the corners, even without TC, so you can just fly through the esses like a maniac on Road Atlanta and still post a decent time. Love that little car, haha.

Yeah, I guess I was doing it wrong - I could only get to 1:21.347 with that Gallardo you were using. I guess if I ran the curbs over and really nailed everything else on the lap that might get me the 1.6 seconds I needed to get to your time, but still - that's a huuuuuge gap. But maybe I'm just not used to the car. That was the first time I had driven it, believe it or not. I was able to get 1:20.250 in the old Ferrari 312 P though, so that's pretty close =)

I'm kinda more impressed by your time in that Ferrari, I tried it after the Lambo and spent most of my race sideways haha. People use the 312 all the time online but I can't for the life of me seem to keep it going in a straight line.

Oh man! That car was a blast to drive once I got used to it. It revs into the stratosphere! Definitely going to drive it more often. I drive the 333SP a lot and the 312 reminds me of that, except at a pace that doesn't make your eyeballs bleed.

No worries about skill level, last time we played we were all over the board and still had a blast. We could always do a drift race as well! I might be on Friday night depending on if I finish my HW before the weekend, be on the lookout for a post about it.

Haha, I think we all will, I just played for the first time in three months on Saturday. And that's awesome you know how to tune the cars, I just crank up the front and rear downforce and hope for the best haha. If you don't mind me asking where did you learn to do all that?

I just haven't found the need to justify it. Bought the console just for Forza, have something like 12m credits, 155 cars... Love the game!

The last time I played Forza online was Forza... Xbox. It ruined online console gaming for me. Nothing but (what sounded like) 10 year old cursing up a storm. I don't mind cursing, but when it's obvious you are cursing just because Mom isn't in the room it is annoying.

I feel you about XBL, unless you're in a party with friends while playing online it's awful, especially on the more popular games. You can't even go game-chat on CoD or Battlefield anymore. Live was the only consistent way me and my friends to hang out in high school since we were all busy with jobs and school clubs and stuff like that and we still have it for the summer during college, but during the school year we're never on for the reasons you mentioned.

I tried it for that too! I got 6:40-something because it's so hard to get a full lap with no mistakes. One little twitch and you've just wasted 7 minutes. So frustrating.

And it's always something dumb, too! Like you'll survive the hardest technical sections on the back section and get 90% of the way through a lap then put a wheel off at Platzgarten 2 and eat a wall. I'm trying to remember my best time, I wish I was home to look. I'm pretty sure I got close to 6:30, may have even beat it, it's been forever since I played...

I'd imagine they would be considering how dead 4 got when the new Xbox came out. Unfortunately I'll probably stick with 4, I'm spending a bunch of money on my car over the summer and I doubt I can afford a console along with it.

Man I'd love a wheel, with controllers it's so hard to catch a slide. Unfortunately I'm a broke college kid so one probably won't be in the cards until Forza 6 comes out :(
