I like its color scheme, Unspecified on Unspecified. Much better than the traditional green and tan on Jag's.

I felt like I immediately knew so much about this car. In spite of the nearby location I didn't even have to go test drive it because I already knew everything about it so that the trip would have been irrelevant.

I think they might end up making the most exciting base-model cars in this segment. The middle and high end spec versions of the current cars are exciting but the base cars are kind of ho-hum.

I wonder if Porsche will ever make a car for this segment.

Heck yea! Very interested to see how well it does. I'm a little apprehensive, though...I'm worried people are just going to compare it with a "can't be better than BMW" confirmation bias. I'm guessing it's another 'auto only' so the only direct comparison is probably the Merc C-Class.

I forgot that what the enthusiasts want isn't necessarily what the general public wants.

Their job would be way easier if they were mostly catering to enthusiasts. All they'd have to do is have an MT option and make sure the car handled well and had some pep. They wouldn't have to worry about having all the bells and whistles that the competition has.

I just hope that it uses hydraulic power steering instead of electric power steering like they did with the F Type.
