I wish Prius owners would wake up and realize that unless they drive their cars for half a million miles, they're doing so much more damage to the environment by mining all the lithium and manufacturing the batteries than burning a few extra gallons of gas will ever save

Yup, not to mention all of the other virgin materials, emissions, etc that go into manufacturing them. But just you try convincing one that by buying a 1982 Dodge Ramcharger, you're actually doing the world a solid.
