Guys…I like the Lincoln Blackwood

I don't know why. I am not in to pickup trucks in general. And the Blackwood has a reputation for being overpriced, fairly impractical as a pickup, fairly pointless as a luxury vehicle, and most of all, it seems people think it tries way too hard to be cool. I'm not a fan of that generation of Navigator, and I'm impartial on the Lincoln LS, so why should I like a mediocre compromise between the LS and the Ford F-150?

But there's just something about it. The Model-T style black-only color option. The you're-never-gonna-go-offroad-anyway-so-why-not-burnouts? RWD-only. And that awesome, show-not-go bed, with its metal stripes, stainless-steel lining, double-door split tailgate, and power cover. I can't figure out why, but I think it's cool, and if I had to DD a pickup but didn't need 4WD, this is the one I would go for.

I just saw one of these in the wild last week, I've seen maybe 5 in total driving around. I've never seen one up close to look it over though.

Never been a fan of those. I think the front headlights ruin the whole truck. The back looks okay but the front just looks like a sedan facia. It's almost like a modern ranchero.
