It turns out the cost of the metal panels I need to do the floor and other minor stuff to the OG mini is pretty much the exact cost of building a decent cyclocross bike. That is my goal this fall - and so is having a mini without holes in it. The prices on parts are clearance right now, but then i cant buy the metal till fall and then i will have wasted another summer of mini fixing. Sigh...can i do both? The credit card taunts me so...Oh, and Raleigh's CX series of bikes are gulf colors this year.

What year Mini? My brother just got his '76 going, and if you're in the Indy area he may be able to help you with it.

I temporarily fixed quite a few holes in floors with some of these I borrowed. (kinja'd stop sign image below)
