That one person who voted down on that post.
Shall die.
The poster has a great idea though, We need the 6 speed. Hell, even a 5 speed would work .

If the six speed made it's way into a truck from Ford I would be there in a heartbeat.
Seriously.
It's on my way home from work.

Yeah, Some of the Dodge Ram trucks are available with the 6 speed. I'm fairly sure that it's the Non-Dually 3500.
The new Colorado is hopefully going to have the right transmission in it, and the Frontier and the Tacoma both have manual options and even slandered on the lower trim level trucks. I'd love to see what the Americans have to offer in that class though.

I'm just a Ford fanboy haha. But some competition would be appreciated by all!

Haha, I might convert to a Ford guy. I'll have to stick with Chevrolet over the Corvette and the Camaro (I've got a thing for a V6 Camaro with the steelies)
I've really lost some respect for GM after the negligence involved in those recalls. That kind of thing shouldn't be happening.

My family was big with Ford and Chevy's...primarily trucks overall but had an old Taurus and Mercury Sable wagon when I was a kid. Now, I'm the only one running with a Ford.
Hoping for a mt truck or SUV by the time I'm looking at vehicles again.

Rear wheel configuration has nothing to do with transmission options. Not sure if you can still get a hand shaker with the hemi, but the CTD has a manual option, and likely will continue to for awhile, since they've got the market cornered.

Yeah, I don't know of that many desirable Suvs available with MT.
The older Exploder, the Saturn thing, the XTerra, Wrangler.
That's all that I can currently think of now, But there are probably more of them out there.

Yeah, I'm just not sure if they make the Dually Ram with MT anymore. I know that they used to with Cummins, Dually and Manual. But I'm not too sure if they offer that particular configuration currently.

Like you said, there aren't many. I really like the Wrangler but I have a thing for pickups. It's unfortunate that SUVs are being replaced by crossovers and pickups are all ballooning in size. In both cases, designs aren't very original...they all seem to melt into the same thing.
Kind of like cookie dough. No matter how you shape the dough before it goes in the oven, they all come out the same. Most vehicles I see now are at the halfway point in the baking process.

And if you drop the dough, you shouldn't re-use it.

Like I said, rear wheel configuration is independent of this. And before I wrote this smartass response, I checked.

Ok, Thanks for clearing that up.
