Lets say you had an old car with an age stuck engine. What would you do to unstick it? Mine is ATF in the spark plug holes for a week or 2 and then rock it via the crank bolt. I have also popped the clutch on a 20 years dormant 1965 small pop-top Westfalia via running it down a big hill and popping the clutch (thing freaking started on me even!). This is potential cannon fodder for !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

while holding 3/4 cup of grape kool-aid in your left hand, begin making a male buffalo mating call. if the sun is to your east make it a female buffalo. immediately after smoke a piece pipe and do your best thriller dance. If you start to hallunicate and see John Wayne it should have worked.

I have a BFH and a dowel I have used on single cylinders too many times after a good ATF soak

ATF in the plug holes, possibly following PB Blaster depending on clearances and presence of rust. Note: probably should pull the valve cover and make sure valves are not stuck from dead gas residue or rust - hose them down too, better safe than sorry. I wrecked a set of pushrods on an industrial Ford by turning it over with glued valves. If a piston is stuck close to TDC with valves closed, compressed air can be applied.
If seized up to the level of comedy, one can pull the oil pan after all this and proceed to take the con rods loose. Once the crank is turning, pistons can be knocked upward from below with a light hammer and a drift made of soft wood.

I have seen this comedic level a few times past...
I bought a 30 year dormant Audi Super 90 where the engine and car was in great shape on the exterior. I got into it and unstuck it, but still had alot of hone work to do to get it back to life after busting it free. I saved that thing luckily but unsticking it was a lesson in patience for sure

That'd have an effect not dissimilar to running sodium silicate through it.

Thread a spark plug with a zerk fitting and pump it full of grease. You'll have to make sure the valves aren't open.

yeah if the valves are closed I usually use air. Grease would work too! Non compressible

75% ATF and 25% Acetone in the plug hole, followed by removing valve cover and ensuring valves are free to move and the valvetrain is not rusted shut. Follow that with a thorough wash and rebuild. Acetone is no good for bearings FYI.

Kroil in the spark plug holes followed by a push and a clutch dump. Or Kroil and a harmonic damper tool with a long ratchet.

Change oil. check old oil for anything scary coming out. Put in cheapest oil. Once free and running you'll want to change it more often than normal, as oxidation, gunk will come free.
As noted before check valves to make sure they are clean.
If you can remove Place engine over large tray with flywheel attached. Unscrew sparkplugs. pour in Marvel Mystery oil into the cylinders. Let sit for few days, week, month... Then take a flywheel tool and slowly try and turn the flywheel. Note if engine turns it will shoot excess oil, through the sparkplug hole out. If it doesn't turn let sit some more.
Some recommend placing a heating plate under the engine to warm to 150 deg F. Expansion causes the rings to separate from the side of the cylinder. However I am nervous about anything that combines, heat, electricity, and flammable oil.

yeah I have used a blowtorch to heat up the block too. Always change oil after it breaks free too!

Also remember, if the exhaust is still connected, when you get it to run. Have plenty of ventilation (and absent neighbors) as it's gonna smoke like a
