Awesome... Looks like it survived ! That mount put up with much prop wash... How was the video quality with all of that buffeting/vibration on the engine cowl ?

Video was better than I expected. A little shaky at times. I tried to place it as close to the cowling attach points as possible since its quick flimsy. I think it would be better if I ran a strip of gaffers tape over the top. But it didn't fall off, so that was a victory.

I considered that, but there isn't really any place to attach a tether and having it bounce around until I land might cause more damage than just letting the camera fall.

Just an FYI that the FAA are looking into whether camera mounts would be considered an illegal modification of the airframe, so be careful where you post this.

You can do pretty much whatever you want if you fly an experimental category aircraft. Thanks for the concern.
