just missing the outer arm supports, some wheels and a pilot!

then I can chuck Creo into a furnace since everyone else uses Solidworks

Nicely done. Do you get to do test on this?

Solidworks is the way to go! Used it back in College while in Formula SAE. Remember nothing of it since that was 5 years ago.

well this is done as an assignment and then we move on to some other stuff. We get marked on the complexity of the model, so it's all been self learning through YouTube videos just to get that extra few marks.

I have a feeling that our lecturer has links with the distributer for Creo. No one in our country uses it, so it's kinda been a waste of time. All I've learnt is how to read an instruction manual...

Ha, interesting. I'm not sure how Creo works, since I've never used it. I assume it must be similar to Solidworks tho. One thing I dislike about classes is they can make you use whatever software they choose, even if its outdated or just not useful.
