I felt ridiculous because I was wearing a women's blouse - a leopard print number that was bought at Walmart for the sum of about $6...and to top it off, it was too small. I wanted to kill my brother, but rules are rules.
The rules were simple. Buy a shirt, any shirt, in complete secrecy, and no matter what, we would agree to wear it out in public once we got to Las Vegas. I thought I was so clever when I was picking out the shirt he had to wear - it was a t-shirt with a giant kitten on the front. Fitting, since we were driving a Jag on the first day.
We were heading to Las Vegas to shoot a few episodes of our new series and the first car we were renting was an F-Type. I thought that making my brother drive the Jaguar while wearing a giant kitty with a tiny pink tongue sticking out would be ridiculous.
It was, but it was nowhere as epic as the shirt he bought for me to wear...because I was the one who was literally going to look like a god damn Jaguar. Ah, brotherly love. We classed it up a bit, as you can see, because we also had a black Maserati GranCabrio and AC/DC's "Highway To Hell" stuck in our heads.
So what the hell does any of this have to do with cars? It has a lot to do with cars, actually. We're launching a new web series about cars, travel, and adventure called "Going Places" - because thats what we'll be doing. Driving all sorts of unique cars, exploring new places, and having as much fun as possible along the way.
Our plan for the first few episodes was to pack up our film gear, head to Vegas, grab some cool cars, and get lost. Ring up anyone in the area with a need for speed and jump into whatever adventure came across our path. Like getting a ride in a Rally Fighter from race car driver Michele Abbate. I also made sure to pack a few surprises along the way to keep things interesting - Like a wiffle bat, which inevitably got us some very strange looks when we were checking in at the MGM Grand hotel.
If you want to see what it looks like to drive a jet black 440bhp Maserati GranCabrio down Las Vegas Boulevard dressed as members of a 1980's hair band, which we did, then do whatever you need to do to follow or like us. There's also a game of frontier wiffle ball, we ride in the ultimate zombie fighter and blast canyons in a Jaguar F-type with exhaust pipes from hell. We will be releasing the first three episodes for this series right here, every week, STARTING TOMORROW. Stay tuned...

Cool! Can't wait to watch it! I, too, went to Vegas and rented a Jag. Back in those days, however, it was the S-Type. Ouch. Canyons were still fun though!
