Nice city too... I need, need to get out of the midwest or at least to somewhere with civilization like the Twins Cities.

I live here. The roads suck. The winters suck worse, and are the cause of the sucky roads. I can't wait to get out of this state.

Look what the horrible winters did to my wheels.

Yes, the winters suck, here too although not as bad. But hey, at least you have stuff and a reason to get out in the snow. When we get snow, its flat (Kansas) and there are no places to go inside or out. No malls of America, no real entertainment (We have movies and food, that's it!)

Next winter, try not to drive on the curbs, k?

Joking, I know its corrosion.

Kansas does indeed get some dumb snow. And people go whack which does not help.

Fellow Z34 owner :) Took mine on 30 mile cruise. Good to see some sun for your Z!

THIS! Yes, I hate the people as much as the snow. You have 1/3 of the city doing 5mph on the cleared highways, some people doing 90 in 1ft+ of snow because they have 4 wheel drive. Just no rhyme or reason to the whackos here. At least in Dallas, everyone drives the same kind of crazy and it makes sense!

Lol. Sadly this winter I was the slow poke, since I had just gotten my Z and it came with Summer only tires. Most of the time I just called my work and told them unless they'd pay for my car if I crashed, I'd be working from home. Too much cray shit going on

Hey, if you can work from home effectively, why not?

My boss happens to be the most competitive manager of my division, and hates when we aren't at the tips of his fingers. So sometimes, they gave me shit for it. But after I braved it and slid around twice to the point where I had absolutely no control, I said no more. He doesn't like it well, tough titties.

Yeah She is beauty (6MT FTW). Its 40th edition, One of 500. It is technically a salvage title so we got the deal of the century on it.

Minnesota has no mountains, only some big hills. There's a bit of skiing here, but not a lot. There's a lot of entertainment and the food scene in the Twin Cities is as good as they come (seriously, there's amazing food here, and it gets better every year). But the winters are so long and the summers so short it's depressing and bad for your health.

As for the wheels, they have been curbed, but that's only because the wheels stick out farther than the tires where the spokes meet with the rim. Terrible wheel design. The curb rash hasn't helped the corrosion, but there's corrosion in places where no curb rash has happened. Awful salt.

I loved the twin cities, we went up there a few times when I lived in Omaha, and it really is a first rate city. Played "follow the yocals" to find the best grub, and nothing ever was disappointing.

And you can't complain about your hills! I live in the area scientifically proven flatter than a pancake!
