I was watching a replay of a race and then i was surprised to see Loeb racing there, i knew he had retired from WRC, but i didnt know he had entered this category, then i was more surprised that he lead most of the race and won 1st place.

Yep. Part of the reason he left the WRC was to head Citroen's WTCC campaign.

He also took pole position today, before both him and Lopez in the third Citroen got penalized after a failed technical check. It looks like the Citroens are way quicker right now, partly because they've had more testing than the other teams.

its His debut, i know he is a rally master but racing wheel to wheel is different, he has overall racing talent.

I was casually watching this race, but i dont usually see it, i might start following this category, if they normally broadcast it on my tv channels
