Stop that, you're making it tough for women to actually integrate into the community. It is terrifying to me when my parents say they want to come to the car gathering. What will they think of the car community when they get that first impression? That all we care about are half naked women to pose on nice cars? Now I can't take a photo of the car the hot girl is posing on without looking like a pervert because she's in the shot of the car I'd like to take more photos of. Seriously, what the fucking fuck.
Fuck this shit. I'm going to start my own car gathering and hire hot and steamy male models.

Cars and Coffee seems like a clean place to go with the family. My family loves to go as my mom and my sisters go shopping and me and my dad go look at cars. Hopefully, this year it happens more often.

I don't get all the sudden hate for car models...
Sure it is a little sexist, but obviously these girls are comfortable with themselves and their ability to draw attention and push product.
Its marketing, its business, sex sells.
And women have their guilty pleasures too:

That's why I'm hiring hot and steamy male models! Let the women get comfortable and the men get uncomfortable. None of my friends really care about or even like seeing models around cars. We're here to fucking see cars.

Hey, I at least partially agree. I go to see cars, and the occasional female 'artist' helping the cause bothers me none. Even a male doing the same occasionally wouldn't bother me.
Vendor girls though, they make or break sales sometimes. Take Jager, I hate the stuff, but when they launched Behren Jager it was the booth babes that convinced me to try it. And try it again, and again and again... Needless to say we carried Behren Jager and I sold the crap out of it thanks to those lovely ladies.
It's really just know your audience and suck them in when you can.

It's sexist for you to dictate what type of modeling jobs a woman may take. It's disgusting and vile that you think you get to tell women how to act or what jobs to take. Shall we lock them all up in their closets and demand they only leave the house fully covered with a male family member as an escort?

I would argue that even if the ladies are comfortable with themselves, they were built to think that way by the patriarchy. So what if they're fine with it or they're comfortable, it's still degrading and that's bad. Lots of women have been conned by misogynistic guys (who let's be honest, are most of the male population - doesn't mean they're bad people, just ignorant) to be subconsciously accepting of the fact that they're lesser.
I get laughed at for being a male feminist, but if guys get past the stereotype - fat ladies in glasses and purple cardigans sitting around a table talking about vaginas - they might realize that almost everything we say has at least some truth in it.

Sure it has a grain of truth, but being misogynistic-phobic and hitting the panic button every time some man enjoys the sight of some attractive woman solves just as little as letting woman run around in short skirts at the car show.
Heck, if anything let the woman at the car show be our guide with our children.
1) Son, you can look but no more
2) Treat her with the same respect you would the salesman in the suit taking forms
3) Don't judge her
4) Protect her like you would your mother if you see a man get out of line with one of these woman
And yes, society has encouraged the Barbie image, but only because we are wired for it. Evolution didn't happen because billions of organisms had the invention of society.
I do get where you are coming from, and where the "man-hating" image for most feminists is based. But it isn't fair to good men who enjoy and respect the image of these women. It is an idealized form, but we should also recognize it isn't average and even these woman will one day look like our mothers. Let them and us bask in it while we all can.

You're right. I'm just so frustrated with some of the coolest car gatherings being spoiled with models everywhere.

What you say may be valid, but there are only girls at car shows and other such events because the main demographic is guys. If there was no patriarchy, there would be an equal amount of men and women who loved cars (or sewing, skiing, painting, whatever).
And if that's still not true, we should strive to make it so.

I think if women were naturally drawn to cars more we would see less of the scantily clad women. It is a growing demographic though. At the very least the "car crowd" is shrinking as a whole and woman are the only thing adding members at a significant rate.
If you really want change I think you could do it like such:
Create a car show, board members all female car enthusiasts. Let them book events and set the rules. Let it grow organically and who knows what would happen. It might look exactly like every other car show, it might be all Priuses, or it might be 99% pink Miatas and red v6 Mustangs.
At the very least it would be a good social experiment. I would worry for the cause though, that the women would want car babes there just to draw attendance your intentions be damned.

Women and cars are two passions I don't think necessarily need to be mixed, at least not in the form of scantily clad women posing with cars. If I want to see the car, then I just want to see the car. Likewise, if I want to see a scantily clad women, then I just want to see scantily clad women. Ya know?
