I was in a different part of my companies property, so I figured I would take that opportunity to get a fairly scenic picture. The car was kind of dirty unfortunately, but not too badly, I washed it after work to make myself feel better about it.
I'm driving up to Plano today to celebrate Easter with my family over the weekend, so that's fun and exciting. I think I'm going to take back-roads to change it up a bit.

Took the liberty to play around with the picture a bit :)

I had slightly adjusted the levels, threw a curve filter on there and did a few other things in CS6. Looks like you did a filter and a high pass overlay if I had to guess, not sure.

What did you do exactly? Vibrance and contrast if I had to guess, but I'm not sure. I'd slightly altered the image with CS6 prior to uploading, but nothing too serious. I do like your touch though, nice color emphasis while still keeping the colors accurate.

Take pictures! My drive went great, maintained a solid 20 over through TX highway 14, not a bad clip at all. Was a gorgeous day here.

Played around with vibrance a bit i believe and made a mask desaturating the surroundings and a few bright bits on the car

If you send me the original through dropbox or something of the like, I can edit it better for you. I love doing this kind of stuff, it keeps me busy. Here's an example of my work, (I took these photos and edited them):

Thanks! I've spent a lot of time doing graphic design and tend to make alterations myself, but if I find a great composition photo that I'm unable to save I'll send it your way.

I'll have to try that. I've used a similar method to totally grayscale a background while leaving the foreground or a few select colors. Thanks!

nice! I didn't get pictures but I found out my gen4 is limited to 120mph (guess how?) And I rolled over 100k (that I've got pictures of).

I found out my gen2 is limited to 145 somehow (a while back), I'm not sure how either. Glad your trip went well! I got to drive some gravel roads last night (about 6 miles through the woods) and it was awesome. My car is ridiculously dirty again though.

I know it's in the ECU, but thats about it. It really sucks because I'm going to Summit Point Hyperdrive next weekend and I think I could get it higher than 120 there. The reason for the 145mph limiter is the transmission is only capable of 146 in stock form IIRC. I know for a fact a gen2 can reach 135 easily on a straight, the gen4 gets to 120 in no time at all, and now I'm looking at standalones...

ATSracing.net sells a PnP 3sgte ECU that you might want to look into. You can definitely get it up above 120, no doubt.

I've seen that a few times, but a grand is a little out of my price range right now, I already do bluetooth logging too :) The flat shift and antilag sound cool, but antilag is unneccesary for gen4 as it spools almost instantly. I will probably buy this, their sweet 16 kit, and axle cages though. Sometime after I get new wheels/tires and get coilovers and everything dialed in.
I do want launch control and flat shift, eventually. but the flex-fuel ethanol sensor sounds pretty much right down my alley, sounds like I might hit my 400whp goal on stock internals after all! I just need a $1400 ecu.
