!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is without a doubt the greatest automobile promo video in the history of motoring. This could have saved Pontiac. Had GM aired this in 2010 people would have been coming out of the woodwork to buy a Pontiac. It makes me so proud to have once owned a Pontiac from that era. Even if the build quality rivaled that of Lada.
I would also like to point out that for reasons unknown to mankind, they also featured the Pontiac LeMans in this promo. I have never in my 22 years on this earth seen a LeMans plated, insured and on the road.

"Even if the build quality rivaled that of Lada."
The build quality was better than most people "remember"..
(Before the flaming begins. No, your aunt's cousin's sister's neighbor's friend that had a brand new Quad 4 that blowed up six miles from the Dealership and was denied a warranty claim does not count. Because it's a bullshit story and you know it.)

It was more or less a tongue-in-cheek statement. To be fair even though my '92 Sunbird only made it to 225,000kms, it made it 18 years. And time takes a tougher toll on a car than mileage. Although the interior had been coming apart since it left the factory.

lol at that Firebird getting a ticket. I seriously miss these kind of commercials. Now it's all about seriousness, being the safest, showing mpg numbers. The only ones that stand out and do stuff like Pontiac used to do is Dodge and Mazda....some what.

Can you imagine what this commercial would look like with the G3, G5, and Torrent bumbling about in it?
You can only sell retrimmed Chevy shitboxes and call them "Excitement!" for so long before people get burned and run away.
