I'm not a Subaru fan (I don't really have a reason why, I've just never been interested in them, which is odd, because I love everything they stand for), but the outback has always been their prettiest car. If I were to drive a Subie, it'd definitely be an outback. The latest generation seems to call back to the first-gen design a little.

Since I first saw it, my opinion has changed 180°. I actually really like this, and I will have to give it a shot when it's time that we need something a bit bigger. I'm glad they went with a more subtle look this time around. Finally, I'm a huge fan of the slanted rear window rather than the more vertical orientation they previously had it in

I know a bunch of people hated the outgoing gen because of it's bulk. This one is still huge, compared to the second gen. Outbacks, though.

I have one complaint. There are like 5 badges on the back. 6 if you opt in for the charity donation. It's just too much IMO.

This one was on my radar for the next new vehicle in the next 4-6 months, but with only a CVT available, it ain't happening. Kind'a sucks. I like the styling.

Ya it's a shame they're getting rid of the six speed for a CVT, but it was bound to happen at some point.
