It's 1:42pm, lunch made me sleepy and I have a solid afternoon of typing ahead.

It’s weird, I hated doing data entry, but now I miss being able to put a record on and while away an hour chilling out to Mogwai.

I feel the same way about certain menial jobs I’ve got to do. It’s nice having work with people constantly interrupting about requirements and deadlines...but you don’t get to bang out Moggy albums :P

I’m too busy to even work on the car after work these days man. I have so much I want to do, but I’m driving the MR2 for work and I can’t get a break to do the preemptive maintenance I want to do. I
need
to do:
Bushes, nigh on all of them
brake overhaul, fluid, rotors, pads
gearbox rebuild
timing belt
I
want
to do so much more. My only saving grace is I live 5 mins drive from Neal Bates’ workshop, so one of the most trusted 3SGTE specialists in the country can work on it if I really can’t get the time.
but at this stage I’m looking at Stageas for daily drive.

That’s awful. Mine has been chattering away due to a badly needed valve adjustment. And I bent a wheel. Hoping to get them fixed soon, it’s not the same living with a sick car.
A Stagea! I often fantasize about getting one of those, should I ever need a big car. They’re
so awesome

At least mine is soldiering on. Needs work but it won’t die. I miss my NA. I spent 200 bucks on it outside of regular maintenance. Out 120kkms on the bloody thing.
I’d help ya if I was closer. Not sure if who’s good in Vic with MR2's but I’ll ask about. doing the timing is a huge pita, the Toyota BGB says to drop the engine and trans.

Mine is soldiering on too, it’s good when they do that. It’s still a barrel of laughs too it really is.
That’s amazing! I can only wish for as much from mine. It’s a good omen though.
I’ve got a friend who’s doing it, not to worry. At this stage anyway.
The guy I spoke to said the engine would have to come out for timing too. Said he’d done it once with the engine in, and never wished to do it again.
