Well this is interesting, for me personally it's CP, but for the right person, could this perhaps be a NP? Or is it too soon for a truck of this vintage to command such a high price?

The problem I have with vehicles with a stupidly low amount of miles is that if you drive them you've taken away what was unique about them, yet if you don't it's not really a vehicle. It's a statue.

I'm going to go ahead and call it a NP because it's a new F250 with a stick, and it's cheaper and cooler looking than its modern counterpart. Also- DEM WHEELS.

Yeah, personally I'd like to encounter this thing at like 50-100k miles. I wouldn't feel bad driving it and the price would be much lower.

Yeah, I think about half that would be more acceptable, lol. It does look great though.

Interesting... I just don't know enough about the market for near-classic low-mileage pickup trucks, haha.

the ad makes it sound like you are buying a slightly used NOS muffler. Who cares about the mileage. Every mile you drive...

lol, in low-mileage cases like these, do you charge for test drives? Since every mile is a mile more on your low-mileage claim.

geez a good question. I wouldnt let people drive it. I would have it at a reputable shop on a lift for anyone that wants a gander, along with all the documentation that it is a true low miles car. Noone that is going to buy it is going to actually drive it.

I suppose that's true, who knows if it's even a good idea to drive it with only 228 miles on it in that much time.

I had no idea that people were restoring 70s era pickups. I think I'd much rather have that one, if the engine swap is sorted, than a time capsule. You could even do truck things like hauling stuff in the bed.

I'd say NP. There probably isn't another one with that few miles in existence. These were working trucks. Someday, it will be worth more.

Maybe, I've never heard of vehicles being a good idea for an investment though.

I don't think the collector's value is there. IMO, this should have surpassed 228 miles in month 1 or 2 of ownership. For $15k you can get an immaculately restored example with lots of extra meat under the hood.
