I hate it. Wired up a brake controller, now my cruise doesn't work. Either a ground fault, polarity issue, voltage issue or some other thing all together.

That's the worst. I HATE electrical issues. My cruiser has a couple intermittent electrical issues that I've been too lazy to track down. Good luck!

Thanks, I am going to take all the handywork this guy did apart tonight and lay it all out so I can see if for myself. hoping to avoid all this mess by paying someone else to do it, but after a few hours and tries, its clear im on my own.

That's why I plan to only use electrical components I can fix with a club from here on out, and wire with metalized mammoth sinew.

So I started looking at utility trailers and quickly jumped to looking a military surplus stuff which will require trailer brakes. Anyway my question is what harness are you using to hook up the electric brakes to your 80? Is there a comprehensive Mud article that I should read? Thanks.
