The late 80's was filled with crazy hypercars, lots of earthy shades, an affliction for Kenny G or his style of Jazz, and modernistic design eroticism.
All of which, this video features in spades.
But none more so, than the new for '87 Ferrari F40.
Being Enzo's "swan song" meant that the company didn't want to miss sending it out into the world with a jolt, so they teamed up with Car Graphic Magazine (Basically a car magazine that was as much "cars" as it was "beautiful photography" and "how they mix with art") to make this video.
I think this time period was perfect. It was just on the cusp of the tech turnover, and it was the last of the truly individualistic "clean" design eras. More important than anything though, it was an era seemingly built around the ideal of slowing down and enjoying life. So let's do just that, and sit back and enjoy this 15 minute blast from Ferrari's past.
(Sorry for the poor quality, this was ripped from a VHS).

Thank you so much! Now I just wish I could replace the header image with the video. Would it be too much to ask you to do that for me? I'm currently on my phone at work posting.
