depending on the state, the extra cans will also nail you with the deposit.

I'm kind of ashamed to admit it, but I calulator'd. Mind blown.

By my calculations, a 6-pack of good beer is the better purchase.

I'm certainly not implying that I did that in my head.

I ate a whole pizza once. But I only cut it into 4 slices instead of 8, because 8 slices would have been too many.

Yes! I've only at half a pizza, cut into 4 slices, but I bet you if I cut a whole pizza into four slices I could do it!

Crap, this was totally supposed to be a reply to the main thread. Ugh, it is too early.

Yeah, that's $2.40 here in Michigan... Versus a $1.80.

I go to at least the summer one every year. I recommend it. I was just seeing if I get some Oppo gear, if anyone there would recognize.

By linear interpolation, it follows that if you buy a six-pack they pay you 41 cents.

The only number that matters is the first number. More things in a box is better than less things in a box

You can't just look at the number of cans, as the cans are different sizes - 16 oz. vs. 12 oz.

I'm not sure what the issue is here. They offer two different products at two different prices. There are possible reasons why one would be more expensive than the other. For instance, 12 oz cans use more aluminum per ounce than 16 oz cans. Or maybe the manufacturing/distribution plant is not optimally balancing their output of each kind of packaging, and for some reason one form factor is more popular than the other which drives up the price.

18 x 16 = 288 ounces
24 x 12 = 288 ounces
Not sure if there is justifiably a $7.70 difference in the amount of aluminum.

Probably not if you just look at the intrinsic value of the aluminum. As I indicated, there may be other factors e.g. market forces.
