"zeontestpilot" (zeontestpilot)

Stopped to get some gas on the way to work, saw these two (I believe) test mules sitting outside the McDonalds. The only badge on them that I saw was on the grill. Might I add, that a de-badged car looks like its having an identity crisis. So...anyone have any idea what the car is? 200 maybe? Regardless, they look nice.

Thats the new Chrysler 200. Saw a truckload of them leaving Sterling Heights Assembly last week. Pretty good looking small car.

Agree. New 200s, they don't need the camo since they've already been released.

They look great then! Though, I think they did a poor job at covering it with their "manufacturer camo".

It may have had a better camo job before. A lot of times engineers will rip the camo off after the car is publicly announced, so that they can have better test results while driving around. That camo/cladding weighs a bunch and if they're testing stuff like mpg, that stuff can also add drag.

Chrysler prefers that you compare the 200 to an Audi.

They look so incredibly bland it would be stealthier to just slap a Hyundai badge on them and go about your business witout slathering them in LOOK AT ME camo...

This is the first American car I've genuinely looked forward to seeing in person.

it looks real nice honestly. I was in a hurry, but I made sure I appreciated it's "beauty" before I left. The rear lights is what got my attention when I drove up to the pump.

I don't know if it's just me, but the back of it looks like a Ghilbi.

I'm beginning to think some manufacturers put that camo on a car to GET attention. At least that is what it seems lately.

Dear Chrylser,
Less round. More flat, sharper edges. Taller lights. Bigger trunk. Try to hide the fact that it's just a Dart in sheeps clothes.
Sincerely,
The World.

That could be true. But I guess, as someone else pointed out, that the drivers sometimes take the camo off of the car. The car with the camo on, didn't have a front badge, but you could still have see where the badge would of been. The other car, had a badge on the front. I think maybe the non-camo car is a newer car that they are testing.

They appear to be going for a subtle Dodge racetrack lights corporate motif.

What was that article supposed to prove? That people are skeptical? So what?
