I like the rental Fiesta but gawsh DANG that slushbox is horrible. I thought transmissions were getting better these days and ages. Who cares, if I was to buy one it'd be an ST with a manual anyways.

Slushy stuff seems to be patchy on the quality scale.

Luckily the Focus St and Fiesta are only stick.

Had a Focus rental for a week last year, and I really liked it. That being said, the transmission in it was terrible, and if I were to get one it would definitely be manual.

Should be the DSG right? I've heard numerous complaints about the DSG in the focus and fiesta.

I got to drive a 2012 Focus Titanium hatchback for my driver's ed car (the dealer loaned them the car but it was covered in the dealer's stickers so it was free advertising).

My god was that automatic god awful. Truly one of the worst.

Good thing Ford makes a good manual.

I've driven a Focus and Fiesta ST, great cars. Box is smooth and responsive, clutch is snappy and sporty, and the turbo feels strong without being laggy.

Yes? Powershift if what Google calls it, and first thing to pop up was Fiesta transmission PROBLEMS. LOL. Its jerky at low speeds and holds onto 1st gear way too long.

I heard ford has been popping out numerous updates to try and fix this but so far it seems that they haven't figured it out yet
