Woke up really early, and washed 18 cars, EIGHTEEN different cars over an 8 hour stint. Car detailing is not a glamorous job, despite what certain people think.

But it's so satisfying. Unless you have to clean nasty shit that smells ungodly.

Haha, I had to drive a horrible old Sienna with all sorts of nasty shit on the inside to help a buddy move. I broke the sliding door handle on the interior. Shhhh, don't tell.

I have to agree. I did detailing at a BMW dealership two summers ago. Terrible. It's enjoyable to clean your own car, but random cars one after the other is a bitch. I actually looked forward to non-BMW cars because they were usually dirtier. At least you could see major improvement. Mose of the time it was throughly cleaning cars that were already pretty clean. Sounds stupid, but that's what it was.

Question: What do you use to clean carpets? I've got some questionable substance in my carpet that I desperately want to get out.

We use a mix of a steam cleaner and some industrialized citronella for tougher stains.
