My son in law contacted me about getting a car for my next trip to San Francisco. He wants to work on it. It has triple Webers on the original engine, new suspension and the interior looks pretty good. The paint isn't great so that will have to be addressed and the only rust is the driver side dog leg which isn't too bad. He is looking at it, it may be ours by tomorrow.

Awesome. If you end up getting it post photos for sure! Also, an exhaust clip wouldn't hurt either if you would be so kind.

Don't hold you breath. I've noticed that he never posts any pictures of his own cars

When I get over to the USA I will have a look at it, if he gets it. Or if he gets it and takes pictures I can show you. This isn't the car in the post here, the paint is apparently not great but the low rust and recent work on it makes it a good deal.

That's nice. 2002's are good cars.
My test for looking at classic cars is that if I can kick a hole in the side with Steel toe boots on, then it isn't the right car.

He'll tell you he has cars, or "a relative (brother, uncle, son, son-in-law, etc.)" has the cars but will never produce a photo. So, sure, Santa Claus is cool; if you want to believe.

Oh well that's unfortunate. Why would you tell people you have cars but don't want to show them?

No idea; we'd all love to see them.

What has he claimed that he or the others have?

I share cars with my brother, many were my fathers, I am 83 years old. My brother is very against showing them as one of his cars was stolen and another of his friends was stolen. I have shown my 7 and my Mercedes W123 a few times on here. I will show the 240z if he snaps a few photos. My son is working on a MGB GT but he hasn't done too much.

Notice, no pictures. Because why would a car guy share photos of his car on a car site?

Is that why you changed your account from 808Morgan once people realized you're actually a 30 something that lives in a suburb of San Francisco that pretends to be a retired Formula 1 tech? Cool.

Well I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and allow him the chance to show his Z. I'll be quite disappointed if he doesn't.

As far as I know that was a log in name my son, Morgan made to get me into this whole thing in the first place. I found Jalopnik when I had knee surgery some time back, the 808 is because we lived in Honolulu for six years. My son is 35 and he did use the account back then as well, its amazing how creative you guys can get!

Just googled it. Your name was 808morgan.kinja.com and then it became Gimmi.kinja.com after someone asked why these "pictures" were the same as some guy that visited the Grand Prix: http://jalopnik.com/one-of-our-rea… Anyway, we'd all love to see your 7and W123 whenever you get around to it. Cheers.

well I don't think it was kinja a couple years ago. My son took pictures, not me. He started this whole gawker name. As I recall there was a problem with logging in so the name change. I really dont know a lot about these web sites. They change the sites so much. And all paddock and garage pictures look the same to me. My son in law bought the z. I can attempt to put a picture up with his phone. We will see how that goes.
