I don't know what it is but I have a major soft spot for CLs in my heart, especially AMG ones.

My favorite part is the pillar-less-ness of it.

You just reminded me of the time I had to parallel park between a cl65 and a r8.... While in Europe, in a honda pilot. Ahhh, good times.

They have the Pilot in Europe? Any way, that's high pressure parking!

No they don't, I have a Honda pilot in Europe. Best part was the r8 owner was just watching me with anxiety because he's been hit a couple times before.

What generation Pilot? The new ones are quite large.

Tried to find the pic I took but no luck. It's an 07 and it wasn't huge except when we went to Italy. Only thing that sucks about it is gas is expensive as hell, and all parts we have to import from the states. I'm probably going to replace it with some diesel audi or *wild card* a quattroporte.

What year Quattroporte? I would approve of the Quattroporte. Gotta love the Ferrari engine!

Probably an earlier one with the zf tranny. Yes, the ferrari engine will make the terrible gas mileage worth it, especially through the curvy, never enforced mountain roads. $9 a gallon sucks though.

The Quattroporte wouldn't be your DD, right?

I mean, I'd put about 6,000 or so miles on it while I'm there. I'll either travel with that or an ex racecar first gen vw polo with 250hp and a semi stripped interior. I'm a big guy though, me and cars the size of my foot don't work out well.

I would just be worried about reliability as a DD. Do you know if the Quattroporte is a reliable car?

No it's not, well not amazingly reliable. That's why I want the one with the zf tranny. Labor is cheap where I mostly stay but parts are a little more expensive. That's why its a wildcard, most likely I'm going to end up with either one of the germans with a diesel motor. Great gas mileage, great reliability, still fun. But having a Maserati as an European summer car would be amazing, I might just deal with reliability as it might be worth it.

YOLO. If you do get a Quattroporte be sure to do a review!
