Hi. This is a few pictures of cars for your troubles.
Anyway,
I need help finding a board game, which
doesn't
have a lot of materials beside the board itself; like a lot of cards/counters/character sheets, etc. Also, I would be perfect if the rulebook was very short. Ideally, it would be a fantasy setting board game.
I need to find one because I'm working on a board game magazine project for my design school, and I envisioned a board game to be included in the magazine, but I don't have a lot of room for all the cards and rulebooks...
(I will not actually make this, it is just for my education purposes, I don't plan to make money off of any board game.)
If you know of such a game, either one that can be bought or one that is Print 'n' Play, I thank you very very much for the help!

I might suggest Escape! by Queen Games.
Very simple and fast game to play and not a whole lot in set-up. Basic premise is all you need are:
- Game tiles.
- Character tokens.
- Objective gems.
- Dice.
- Minute-glass.
The object of the game is very simple, get enough gems to escape the temple before the time runs out. You do this by rolling 5 dice each. You have to roll the correct symbols to achieve actions.
Dead simple, incredibly intense (Honestly just play this instead of going to the gym. Gives your heart a real work out.) and fast, as the game never takes longer than 10 minutes.

Have a look at Cheapass Games - their whole product line is basically set up that way. Minimal boards/cards, bring your own dice - basically what you're paying (very little) for is their printing cost for the rules and whatever cards/etc. are included.
