With my luck it's a replica, but if not, HOT DAMN! Update: Definitely a replica or tribute.
1 of 37, 7 know to still exist, 1969 Yenko Super Nova, 4-sp. Muncie, 427ci.
I was driving up to a field visit with my boss, who I'm happy to say humored my excitement.

I dont think the Yenkos had the SS badge on the nose, so maybe it is a clone of an SS AND a Yenko!

I highly suspect it's a replica. I have no reasoning just a hunch.
Either way it's a badass car.
My favorite was when someone swapped in a 427 into one of these and left all of the "327" badging on the outside. Evil bastard.

hey it is as real as you want it to be! still a great looking ride. I would have been rolling my hands requesting a burnout regardless!

Haha if the context were slightly better, I would have been chatting him up and requesting a ride. It's a damn nice replica, and whoever owns it, knows their shit.

Yep, on closer inspection, doesn't look like it has the right interior either. My grandmother had a '72 with the 250, a far far cry from this!

Wrong 427 badge. Wrong side marker lights, appears to be a '71. No SYC headrests. I would guess that the wheels are American Racing TT D's and not Atlas as well.

my gramma had both a 66 Nova SS 327 and a Boss 302 Stang in yellow. Little woman did not mess around. Sold that stang in '90 running and driving ———- for 3 GRAND! I was livid

I respectfully disagree. There are papered cars that have them.
Also, plenty of one-car-only stuff happened in Yenko's shop as they would make changes to the car based on the new owner's requests. So there's not exactly 100% consistency.
Hell, GM didn't even have 100% consistency.

My great aunt used to drive some 60s Chrysler boat w/ a 440 in Jersey. My dad recounts that she would start it up and rev the damn thing to the red line. Bad for the engine, but one hell of a funny story. (little old lady from Pasadena)

the Novak had the ss badging. Yenko still has to motor swap the Novas in 69 Chevy would not build them like a camaro or Chevelle

my grandma drove a 54 dodge job rated pickup truck in the early 60s and an early chevy kodiak box truck in the 70s
