I drove by an O'Reilly's today and there was a Chevy Volt there... Similar interest to seeing a horse, besides being very new and very hybrid/ electric...

Nope, he was about 2 hours out on my way home from work today... Yes 6 hours on the road today...

I wonder how much those ground effects or whatever they are called lights would effect the range/ fuel eco?

I worked for O'Reilly in Scottsdale, AZ. We had a Tesla come in one day. Guy did a loop around the whole store, with all of us wondering "what the hell is he here for?" ...guy bought like $300 worth of cleaning supplies.
