Damn. Was base 79 'bird with 301 for 2 grand. They had $6000 worth of work on exhaust and carb done. No T tops, though.

NP if the body was in order. The prices of 2nd gens is skyrocketing right now so currently a Trans Am is a good investment. The 301 was not a very good engine (zero power) but since that car didn't have t-tops you can drop in whatever motor you want without a risk other chassis twisting under power.
