As far as modern pop music goes, the song isnt half bad. And i think that it is somewhat admirable that they're playing instruments

Solo artist (people who don't play their own music and/or hire someone to play it) leave a bad taste in my mouth (so to speak). In not saying their music isn't bad, some of it's really catchy. But it's hard to respect them as an artist when they arnt fully involved in the songs creative process.
