Hooray for those poor souls who can only afford a Ferrari, they can't afford paying for the bills when fixing it. Those poor desperate individuals that can't even afford basic things, like a second house in the Hamptons, or going on the private jet only once this summer. We all know that they need all the help they can get, right?

Ok, so all that is a bit overstating things. Ferrari owners are very well off, but they are about to become even more well off. It was announced that Ferrari is now offering a 12yr powertrain warranty on all their models. And for additional savings, the warranty can be renewed yearly as long as the owner has a Ferrari certified inspection and maintenance performed on the car. This will not only save them on parts and labor, but every time they have the warranty renewed the price will be reduced by 15%, and if there is nothing to be worked on, they will get an additional 15% off, for a total savings of 30%. I don't know about you, but I would kill for that type of warranty service for my cars.

And according to Ferrari, new models owners will also have the option to extend their factory bumper to bumper warranty by another two years. But by far my favorite part of this press release was the part about the new "Ferrari Genuine Maintenance Program" which covers regular intervals of up to 12,600 miles a year, so figure all major service needing to be done, oil, brakes, other fluids. Any takers on how much this will cost owners? No, no one? FREE. Somehow it's now more responsible to own a Ferrari than a new Golf. Maybe we won't keep seeing all those Ferrari's go up in flames anymore, but if you take the unreliability out of a Ferrari, is it really a Ferrari anymore? I don't know about you, but DeMuro's CarMax warranty's look terrible compared to Ferrari's!

Rumor is it sets itself on fire before a repair is needed so it goes through your insurance instead.
