Over the past 6 months I have traveled through some states and met a few of you in person, and haven't met a one that wasn't greater in person than your persona on OPPO. I am planning on some more trips this year where I am working a meetup in, even tomorrow I am going 2 states away for a backyard fire and to drink some beers with another Opponaut. So I implore you, this spring, go to the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , see who is around you, and try to set something up. Couple of beers at a bar, bonfire, car show... whatever. Get to know your fellow Opponauts, form up like Voltron. It makes the interwebs a better place. And anyone traveling through Maine this year or close, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

I do like the idea of oppo meetups. Shame I'm in the wrong country :S

Somehow I'd missed there being such a glut of Cincinnati-proximate opponauts. Looks like I'm about an hour and a half from any other oppos in any direction, so I need to make any trip count/ move toward a concentration.

I'm also in the wrong country, but am based near Dover in Kent if anyone is passing through and wants to visit, the Midget should be back on the road in a few weeks so if the weather is good we can go for a drive!

So far I've met....1. But, hell, I just flew home to be in a wedding for a guy that I know from a truck forum (knew him before I moved, so it wasn't too weird.) The stigma of meeting up with internet friends definitely isn't what it was 10 years ago.

So if anyone is in Raleigh and wants to drink beer, or will be in Indy at the track from 5/8-5/13 or on race day for the 500, or VIR for TUSCCAR later this year.....

I’m near Chicago and have met a few of you at Supercar Saturday and and other shows in the area. I even enjoyed deep dish pizza with MrTheEngineer while he was in town.
