Well, I suppose you could be thankful for that. I'd rather catch something like a big rig losing a drive shaft than some weenie slamming on his brakes in front of me, wrecking my car.

More likely around where I live, it'd be me nearly hitting a dear or three.

There's a ton of them here in Lethbridge. They call it the U-Herd. I see them at least a few times a week. At least the nearest highway is a ways away.

I'm guessing transmission or differential oil. Depending on what part of the shaft gave out, it either took the end of the transmission with it, or the front of the diff.

I picked up my girls at nana's house and there were five crossing then walking down the road and in between houses. As I left, I found out why. People at the end of the road were feeding the damn things.
