The M/F Ostend Spirit, also known as the MS Pride of Calais, met a rather undignified end when it was intentionally run aground at a European breakers yard.

For more than 20 years the ferry went back and forth across the English Channel before its final journey to a scrap yard in Aliaga, Turkey.

The precision was nothing short of amazing. I've launch and recovered lots of small boats in my day and to get it right in the "rungs" on the first try with something small is impressive, with something like this....amazing.
