Great picture. Is that a Shop? If not, how did you manage that background?

I got that one when I was a kid, before I knew how cool these Lincoln's were. I was surprised to see it when I finally dug my collection out if my father's house.

Not a shop, just got lucky with the lighting.... And honestly, the background is a sheet of construction paper :)

Then what is the car sitting on? A piece of glass? Seriously, it's an awesome effect. I've been puttering around with a mini studio set up, but these results are stunning.

Yep. That's what I started doing too! But it's actually sitting on a really shiny table for kids, that I pulled out of my son's room. I've also tried a piece glass, and it works pretty well too:
If you're looking for the glass, though, it's super obvious. I'd probably see what I could do with some editing software. And thank you for the praise!!

Lol, ironically I traded the "green thing" (Aston Martin DB5) for the Lincoln Continental!

lol, right, yes, I knew it was an Aston, give me back my oppo/man card! :P Well, in your collection still or not, you appear to have good taste in little cars
