4th gen, so much more style. 5th gen is still nice, but:

Kinja'd!!!

Geez that's a good front end!

Also, did the AWS make it to the 5th gen?

It's all about the 5th gen. 4th gen looks like a derpy Teg. :\

Because one will be violently destroyed in a fire, and you are the only living soul to drive one out of the dangerzone. Which is it!

4ws did make to the 5th gens. But not in north america. Just like all the other honda icons, america got the short end..

I couldnt get over the 4th gens interior... I loved all of it except for the dash...

Also the nostril grills...

The all digital dash was certainly one of a kind.

Yes, I really like those nostril gills too.

The car is so unique, really. I love the thing so much :(

Now of only Honda would restamp these shells and make them RWD I would buy a dozen of them brand new.

There are a few people in the process of doing rwd conversions actually. One in particular is mating corvette guts to a prelude body... When he actually makes an update i will post that up to oppo cause its insane.

4th gens are still special to me though. Unique cars for sure.

The bottom one.

I know nothing about Preludes, I once had a Civic twice. and an Accord once.

But the looks of the bottom one are more my style, its got better lines to me. The top one is too straight is maybe the word. Not sure, but I just don't like it haha

Youre right, they were very conservative on the styling of the 5th gen. The 4th gen was a bit more 'out there' in terms of its looks. And thats why the 4th gen is a love hate generation.

You would love a prelude if youve done civics and accords. Its more purpose oriented than those two.

I kinda miss both my Civics.

One was a 95 with a B20 block, B18GSR head, had skunk2 cams if I remember right, whale penis intake, rebuild bottom end, and a few more odds and ends I don't really remember, I bought the car as it was and the kid couldn't figure out what was wrong with it.....it had a valve cover leak that I found within minutes of getting the car home.

The other Civic was a 91, B17, pink steelies, was stock as far as I know. Fun little car.

That sounds like a fun motor combination you had. Part of me would love to built up a honda motor on the side. But i wouldnt have the heart to tear out my preludes heart and have to say i swapped the motor...

The older civics offer a lot of smiles per mile thats for sure. They dont make them like that anymore =(

No they do not, my old Civic was way too much fun, I paid 300 bucks for it...It needed a trans supposedly, but I found the linkage somewhere was bent, or a cable was bad, I really can't rememver.

The 95 I had I paid 1500 for

I love getting random deals on cars.

and as far as ripping your car apart, it is so worth it....just pick away at a spare motor, and swap it in when its done, keep the original motor, and when you sell the car toss the stocker back in and then slap the engine into a go kart or another Honda.

love em boht, love the colour choices.

this is a tough one, how about the 4th gen's dash, with teh 5th gen's front all the way until like the b-pillar, then some wicked combo of 4th and 5th on the rear end, like the 4th's roof line but the 5th's bumper and lights
