I've seen that, and it's just one of those cars...It's nice, but I don't know if I'd want to own such a beast...especially with that price tag...220k...in 1997. I'd want to know more production numbers about it though...it's definitely super rare.
The badging gets to me though. I think they could have done so much better. They couldn't have ordered the 7 badge from the SL73?
That panorama hardtop though. I wish the SL600 had that option. I think it's the only option it doesn't have. It does have the phone in it. Next time I'll open all that up. It's pretty silly to see it. The handset isn't in the car, but the controls are above the center console.

I'll save that for when the title is in my name. That way it wont be an awkward call if something goes wrong. My boss trusts me, but will kick my ass if something happened to it "in the name of science."
If you really want to hear it make noise, I'll get it up to 50mph, and floor it. It'll downshift and roar to life, and start booking it like you wouldn't believe. Thing goes like a freight train with a jetpack.
