Kinja'd!!!2 Kinja'd!!! 23

Relatively speaking, at least. No accidents, just minor things that piss me off.

So Thursday was the removal of my winter tires.

Friday was the day I discovered my rear passenger tire was at 14 psi as opposed to the 38 every other one was at. I also discovered a two inch screw.

Saturday, nothing of event.

Sunday, went out to breakfast. Parked away from everyone and came back to a series of scratches (covering two post-it notes in area) on my passenger side and another stray mark away from that cluster. Probably can buff most of them out but I was pissed.

Went to a climbing gym, parked at the only available spot which was next to a handicap spot so I made sure I parked directly in the middle of the lines so there would be adequate room for every party. Came back out to a Honda Pilot on the opposite side parked over the line, leaving 1 foot of space between his driver door...but there was 4 feet for his passenger side. WHO DOES THAT?!?!

Luckily, my door handle saved my door. Luckily, most of the scratches were paint transfer from his car with minor ones that, again, will likely buff out. I was furious and my buddy was pissed, too, but I can't do anything.

I mean, I can't. I don't have it in me.

And there were too many witnesses.

But I'm not happy...it's like that passenger door on my car is cursed. I hope not.

I feel like buying a new car would stress the crap out of me. One of the blessings of owning a used car I suppose.

My buddy unofficially named a problem he's working on "The Finger Blaster." I asked him to lower his voice a little.

Going through the same thing with my ST. I'm always afraid there's something wrong, and have a few scratches that I now need to buff out because of people walking by and being asses. Plus, potholes. Need a wash. blaaaaa. never again. Never again…

that's also a lie. I really enjoy having a new car. stress or not.

I need to give it some tlc and was planning on it this past weekend but my days got filled. Hopefully Wednesday after work. Hopefully.

Last week someone left a shopping cart AGAINST my car and drove off as I was walking across the lot. I WAS WAY THE FRICK AWAY. Fuse was lit and I almost exploded then.

I was leaning towards a GTi or R 32 ... then this hot little number came and swept me off my feet and pushed my stomach through my back !!!

I was one day away from a dark blue WRX (because it pressed me into my seat so hard it reminded me of driving my F-150 in high school)...then I tried the ST. It was buttery smooth. Everything about it was just silk to the point that I didn't realize 70mph came up on my test drive until the salesman pointed out the cop ahead haha.

Man, that sucks. Just today I go to shoprite, park at the most remote spot uphill from any possibility of carts rolling down and hitting my car. I come out, what do I see, 2 damn carts right next to my car. Good thing they didn't hit my car or I would have gone ballistic at the shoprite manager. Why are people so damn lazy and stupid ?!

Saying the same about saturday ahha. Just bought a Maguires detailing kit and a DA from Harbor Freight, so I'd like to go at it Saturday.

Also, who the hell does that with shopping carts. I've seen it done, and it's nothing but infuriating. Seriously. Have respect for other people's stuff. I would have sprinted across the lot and flipped.

They just don't care. I got to my car as one of the employees was going around collecting them (after someone left their cart against my car...which was away from everyone) and he looked at me and asked if there was a dent. There wasn't but I was ripshit. He somehow managed to calm me down by simply saying people are in their own world and they aren't worth the headaches so focus on the fact nothing happened...I was very grateful for him being there.

But it's crazy.

I have a bunch of supplies, not even sure what come to think of it, from the late fall. Then winter hit and those supplies got buried in my closet. I may end up going with Saturday, too, just because the week looks poor (weather and work-wise). I may just drive some vehicles in GTA V through the car wash haha.

Polish it up, then get some of that clear film for the areas that need protecting?

Hey, whatever it takes.

Or you could get some of those side flamethrowers and set them up for remote activation....

Maybe, but you could rest assured that any recipients of a "warning blast" would never get close enough to scratch your car again.

on my drive home from work earlier I contemplated a system that electrically charges the ST and discharges when car doors hit it. could be funny haha

But then again there is some terrible potential consequences for collateral damage.

Hahaha! A few capacitors could help do that for sure, but I'm not sure about the effects on the car's electronics.

Keep it hidden and act innocent claiming you have no idea why it did that perhaps?
