Wow. That really blows, he's one of my favorite comedians. Saying he's known for being on Seinfeld is a ridiculously massive understatement, that's like saying Michael Schumacher is known for being on Top Gear.

I feel like I should go to a chinese buffet and stay there til I'm kicked out...

I had to look up when he was in Seinfeld because I only remember the stand up. Do remember laughing at the end of Seinfeld.

What a shame, I really liked his last stand-up act. RIP

He died "of natural causes" at 50. I'd think that's much too soon, but I'm given to understand that he had heart problems.

His doctor wrote the cause of death as a pulmonary embolism, but noted he suffered from liver and heart disease.

He had the weight issue and a history of prescription drug abuse apparently. Shame really, he seemed to be getting the weight under control over the last few years.

My wife and I were both very sad upon hearing about it yesterday. He was one of our favorites, and we couldn't afford to go last time he was in Washington. Now we're not getting another chance :(

Thank you for noting that he had a career that was so much more than a Seinfeld appearance. He was a fantastic comedian in his own right and I am really sad he was gone. I've had the privilege of seeing him perform twice and both times he had me dying. He will be missed.

So sad. One of my all time favorite comedians.
