But really, a 1972 CJ combined with a 1986 325es. It has the sophisticated styling of an E30 with the high-tech suspension and rigid frame from a 70's Jeep. I don't see anything wrong about this, except being pulled over and supplying 2 registrations. It's the mullet of cars: German engineering on top, American durability underneath. All for only $3,000.

I'm assuming they must register it as the Jeep. I'm not even sure how this would work. Especially if you got pulled over. It's making my brain hurt.

it is probably registered as the bmw, as that is where the only VIN tag anyone ever looks at is.
