Since posting the "for sale" threads concerning my Miata on several sites, a few people have suggested I contact Mazda to see if they want to buy the car as a marketing tool. I put it to you, Miata-lovers of the Jalop-clan, if any of you want to help make waves to see if it's possible, I'm open to suggestions and bless your efforts. I called Mazda an hour ago to see what they thought (800-222-5500, took about five minutes) and they said the marketing dept. does listen to those calls and suggestions. If anyone else wants to help in any way or help me find a buyer, It would be a huge blessing for me and my family.

If I was allowed to have a Miata, my car would have been forced out by now, no questions asked. GLWS, not that you need any luck to help sell that thing

If they wanted a Miata as an example of how their car was (tastefully) modified by enthusiasts - for marketing or for some Mazda museum - I'd say a few g's over your asking price is a no brainer.
That kinda cash is, what, %0.00034 of Mazda's global marketing budget? And this would impress me more than a $250,000 commercial. Are you listening, Matsuda Kabushiki-gaisha?

No thanks. My wife and I are interested in a Golf R, Focus ST, Hyundai Gen Coupe 3.8, BRZ... stuff like that. Mostly the R though

I still think this is the most beautiful Miata on earth. I would buy it if I had a license, money, etc. etc. GLWS
