ill be the first to admit my wagon knowledge is severely lacking but just screwing around at work i came across this gem - never seen this before

In person, probably a lightly modified for autocross/etc. Corvair wagon.

Not in person, either the Studebaker Wagonaire, the Morris Minor estate, or some others - though perhaps my "oddness" meter is broken, as I don't find C3 shooting brakes that weird.

(Speaking of which, I really like fixed-light C3s for some reason)

If we're talking about odd factory wagons, how about this 1960 Dodge Polara. Just look at those fins! Its awesome how they just stick out like that.

Only 159 Packard wagons were made. Mostly by welding a second set of fins over the first, tacking wide quad headlight pods to the much narrower front fenders, and adding a low, non-Packard-shaped hood, air scoop, and low, fiberglass "fish mouth" grille to the front of a Studebaker President.
