Our house, it sold!

Now I will be spending most of today getting a new mortgage, then trying to begin cleaning up the garage.

Then, maybe once we settle in a little, I can begin the search for something to fill the third bay on the garage!

Now, enjoy this picture o a flying Lancer Evo.

eh, we sold it for slightly less than we bought it. But we've been here for 10 years. So we have paid down our mortgage quite a bit. So we are walking away with some cash.

nice. Yeah if you bought in 04 you didnt stand to make much. Nice to walk with some cash, especially if it is more than your next down payment. I bought mine in foreclosure in 08 and reno'ed it myself. We paid it off 2 years ago and it double+'ed in value for what we paid (162 to 370). In 16 years when we sell it who knows. Maybe it wont be worth shit!

plus the house we are getting ready to move into is our last house to buy. So now we can start working towards a debt free retirement in 20-25 years!

good plan man! sounds like you are really thinking about it...which is good. I just hit 35, but have had a plan rockin since 23. Some ups and downs but I want to say FTW at 60-65 and be out with no debt

I'll be 37 this year, but have been thinking about retirement since high school. But I also want to keep living my life. I was telling my wife the other day when I'm on my death bed, I'd rather be saying "Remeber all that traveling/living I did" rather than "remember that time I paid those bills off early!" LOL

But we are pretty low on debt, like nearly none. Right now house and auto payment, and that's pretty much it. So we are doing well, with both of us with growing retirement plans. Yay for good planning!
