Hello fellow gear-heads. Last year, I had the pleasure of acquiring the most charismatic and fun-to-drive car I've ever experienced. "Rooster" is a corner-stone of the Miata community and one of the most tastefully modified members. I have enjoyed every experience behind the wheel of this car, and love the smiles and joy it brings to onlookers and passengers. Up until this point, my daily was a ten-speed, and Rooster was my weekend and evening car. However, my time in seminary has led me to serve in a church and work at a school district while attending school. Therefore, I need a car with a little more compromise and utility. Rooster has just less than 47k miles, and runs great! Since acquiring the car, I have replaced every fluid, have driven it at least once a week, and religiously kept the car clean. My father taught me to maintain a car like I am selling it tomorrow. This is arguably the cleanest NA Miata/ Eunos Roadster in operation, and deserves a loving home.

Wow this car is really well done. Is that the original color LE interior?
What do those wheels weigh? Is it tough to get used to those mirrors?

Your car is gorgeous. The interior ties everything together so well. The aluminum accents are perfect.
I'm so sorry you must sell it. I can tell it means a lot.

An extra $13,480 and it will be yours! Yeah.. The plan was to save until I could get a DD so I could keep Rooster, but life's moving faster than my plans.. it happens

That's a combination of original LE interior and Nakamae JDM pieces transplanted into the '96 body. Their's a lot of visibility with this car so I don't miss the factory ones I have those which come with the car.

Worthy? I don't know what you mean by that, but I'll sell to a loving owner.

I probably wouldn't be as caring for it, due to no proper place for storage. I'd feel bad for buying it.

You wouldn't take care of it? Maybe it's time to learn automotive discipline. If you don't love this car like a child, instantly, you're not a car guy! Haha I'll even throw in a free 5-star, all-weather, paint-safe tarp :)

Hence why I said "yet", as I am young, and I haven't owned a car of my own. I'm usually the one doing maintenance on my parents cars, however.

Ok, no problem. Just trying to see if I could make the deal a little sweater. But don't short-sell yourself. My first car was a built up '96 mustang for drag racing. Had it until I was 15. Sold it to afford a better car for when I turned 16.

I appreciate it, really. It's a balance between appreciating the car too much to see it used as a dd, when It's really a car that should be preserved and enjoyed as a treat, and seeing it as a tool not fit for the lifestyle of the owner. I can't justify having two cars to my name right now, and my family and ministry mean more to me than the car, no matter how much character and soul this car is filled to the brim with. Iam selling it for two reasons: So that someone else can experience this wonderful friend of a car, and to get something else that fits into my family's needs. I on't think I'll regret that.

So much want. And it is close to me. Sadly my budget is only $11,000, and it requires my moms approval since she is buying me the car. She loves the miata, but she wants me to get something more practical.

My first road car was an IS300. That was a fantastic companion for experiencing those years. I strongly recommend one of those with a 5-speed and LSD.

might not be the cleanest one in existence, I'd have to hand that honor to this guy:

however, this one comes in a VERY close second and has a MUCH nicer interior.
best of luck

Heh, I once helped push-start that car in the Snuffer's parking lot back in 2011.

If it's a DD you need, I'll just trade you 1-for-1 with my Miata. It's a great DD.

IIRC, it was just after the car had moved to Texas from Florida, and it just needed a new battery. Anyway, fun times. Good luck with the sale.

It's like I said. I need something with more compromise and utility. One of my positions will be in a church, and I need to be able to carry things/people.
