If you caught the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! from April 1st and are anything like me, you probably now have a hankering for a sweet Chrysler LeBaron convertible. Well wouldn't ya know? In the comments on the Petrolicious site was the exact car from the video.
Not a similar car..but the exact same car, complete with termite free siding and espresso/cappuccino interior by Mark Cross. Find this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! offered for $2,195 in Los Alimitos, CA via craigslist.
It isn't clear from the video if the seller was contacted regarding the car and it was used for the video, or if a Petrolicious staffer (or the actual dude in the video) own the vehicle, but the ad is sparse and doesn't mention the video..which seems strange as that video ups the street value of this legend by roughly 1000% (in round numbers...I could be more precise, but then I'd have to explain my valuation techniques, how to use a slide rule. et cetera).
You are gonna need the pine tree air freshener because everything about this high end K-car stinks. The Chrysler 2.2 liter Turbo I engine is boosted by a Garrett T3 turbocharger to 146 horsepower and 160 ft-lbs of torque...but any hint of fun you might have anticipated is sapped away by an automatic transmission mated to the front wheels.
In case you missed the Petrolicious April 1st video, here it is.

It's too late, 84 LeBaron values are already skyrocketing.

These things are the biggest pieces of shit ever made, my mom had one in the 80's and it never ever ran right.
