...Hello, Ernie... what is this? It looks like a kind invitation to join a nice group, but clicking it does absolutely nothing. Nada. Nicht. Zero. Niente.

It's a polite way to prod a reader to reply. The alternative was "yo m8 leave a coment stop bein lame" but we went with what you saw for some strange reason.
I suppose it should either open a reply editor when clicked or not be clickable at all, huh? I'll see what we can do about that.

Yes, I think that the invitation is at least wrongly expressed, and having it like a fake clickable link that quotes some commentators that are not actually present in the thread, adds some useless mockery. Someone at yours has a kinda twisted sense of humor, but you should tell them that making fun of the clients is not the best marketing policy.

I would vote for opening the reply editor. Also when I click reply, instead of going right to the editor box I need to click on the box to get a cursor. It would be nice if clicking the reply link jumped you right to the cursor without needing to do an extra mouse click.

But it's not quoting users who are not in the thread. It's asking you to reply to the thread starter, whose screen name is Dwhite - Powered by Caffeine, Daft Punk, and Corgis .
