220,000kms of driving the family around and still going. This 850R is showing some signs of kids spilling stuff in the back and running into a few too many car park curbs but overall looks OK. $4,900 NZD gets you the turbo charged 5 cylinder Swedish sports sedan that you have always wanted. Link to auction !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Trade Me is the New Zealand version of eBay/Craigslist. I will aim to post up auctions for any interesting and rare cars that we get in this little corner of the world known as New Zealand.

I'd talk them down to $4k, that paint is rubbish and the interior is filthy.

Sadly an automatic... but still some of the best wheels of all time!

i spent a couple days in rotorua back in '97. Loved it. I didn't even mind the smell.

Awesome man, on holiday? Yea, the smell.. It really isn't as bad as people make out. Here's a pic of my dads and my bike next to the lake

BMW makes some damn sexy bikes. Nice ones.
Yeah, on holiday. Did a couple weeks in Oz and a week in NZ.
I'll never forget Rotorua because it was while there that I watched the british hand hong kong back to the chinese live on tv.
Like most tourists, I ate an ear of corn that was cooked in one of the hot springs. Most of my group was squeamish because of the smell, but it was some of the best corn ive ever eaten.
I still have the all blacks jersey I bought at a sporting goods store in rotorua, back when they actually had collars on. Older me wishes that younger me had gotten a black caps jersey instead, but I was too young and stupid to understand the manifold joys of cricket back then.

Awesome, that's a cool story! And yea, cricket, such a good game. We had an epic summer of it down here. Too bad we flunked in the 20twenty World cup.

The game itself? Or the Worldcup? Those beige shirts are like NZ royal attire - Keep it with you, always

Sadly, the 5 speed R's are more mystical than spotting an Alfa 164. I checked a few sources a few months ago, and found one manual T5 R in Washington State. Out of the entire country, it was the only one listed.
