Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd......................
It's stanced.

a little low for my tastes...but I still like it.

That's an awesome looking project car, but it looks to me like an AE92 wagon with the AE92 Trueno front end grafted on along with a JDM AE86 Trueno GTV front bumper.
![]() 03/31/2014 at 21:52 |

AE92 actually, with an 86 front end grafted on. The front overhang gives it away as fwd.

I was gonna say not an AE86

hmmm...seems legit, my knowledge of JDM is limited

I think it's actually just a USDM AE92 GTS bumper painted black. At least judging from the side markers.

I don't even think that's an AE86 bumper. Looks like a North American-spec AE92 one, painted black.

yay AE92s. Don't know why I like these, but I do

Too bad its not an alltrac

Thats pretty slick

Sorry, but is that actually a real modded car or just Photoshop? I want to believe.
My parents had a 91 4WD Corolla wagon. An AE86 front clip and RWD mod would make that car AMAZING.
![]() 04/01/2014 at 09:50 |

The other comments seem to think it is a modded AE92 with and 86 front.
![]() 04/01/2014 at 09:59 |

Yes I know what it's made of, but is it REAL?
![]() 04/01/2014 at 10:00 |

I think it is a real car...but it is FWD
![]() 04/01/2014 at 10:06 |

Cool. Should have been done with the 4WD version. Now I want a new project....

They are just so undesirable compared to the AE86 because of FWD, but still have very sweet chassis and suspension in GT-S form. Lest we forget the sweet 4AGE 20Vs that resided in some of these 'Rollas.

You're right. Definitely some slight differences that get covered up with the black paint.

There's not too much to know about these cars! I didn't know much about post-AE86 Corollas until I started lusting after the 4AG Blacktop...

Can someone explain stancing to me? I mean, why anybody thinks it's cool or looks good?
![]() 04/01/2014 at 12:49 |
|
I can't
![]() 04/01/2014 at 17:26 |

Close. It's actually all AE92, but with the front clip from the NA Corolla Sport Coupe.
The AE86 had the parking lights located in the bumper, not just below the headlights.
![]() 04/01/2014 at 17:28 |

Yup. All AE92, but the Sport Coupe front clip instead of the standard sedan/wagon fixed lights. And you can tell it isn't the AE86 because the parking lights are immediately below the headlights, not in the bumper like the AE86.
